about
Art to me is an amazing form of storytelling. I enjoy contemplating the story behind the images, the thought process of the creator, and the lasting impression it may leave on an individual or a community. As a former graphic designer and art educator, I always enjoyed the moments when someone connected with a particular design, artist, or piece, and loved the opportunity to understand why. I draw inspiration equally from the GOATs hanging in galleries, to the student art displays at local libraries, to the street art on the side of buildings. Because the way I see it, regardless of form or style, an individual was compelled to tell a story and so I should give them a moment of my time to listen.
Over the years, (and careers) I’ve learned that my true passion is using my talent to tell the stories that are connected to a sense of place, a pivotal moment in time, or deep emotion. And I’m proud to have played a humble role in telling the stories of some of those close to me. Whether it’s about a special home, landmark, our heirloom, I’ll tell your story in watercolor to be cherished and retold for years to come.
More about me:
I live in Victor, NY just east of Rochester where we experience the full beauty every season has to offer, although winter typically overstays its welcome each year. I work from my home studio which allows me to be present for my two teens and wife while also pursuing my passions as an artist. They are also my inspiration and have been my biggest supporters along the way.
I also love culinary arts and testing my abilities with new recipes (I spent quite a few years in the restaurant business). I enjoy building things, fixing things, and I’m obsessed with leaving perfectly mowed lines in my yard. Must be the artist in me.

“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
